SUMMARY OF JOB

• Operates and monitors various types of Cath Lab/IR equipment under the supervision of a Cath Lab/IR/EP physician and/or Clinical Unit Coordinator.
• Assists the physician and nursing personnel during Diagnostic & Interventional catheterization procedures.
• Provides various types of patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• May be required to accept and perform work assignments or assist with tasks outside of regular duties or cross-trained assignments.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology.
• ARRT or CVT/RCIS Certification preferred.
• 1 year of Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology/Catheterization procedure experience.
• Successful completion of basic EKG Arrhythmia course or equivalent training & experience.
• Current BLS certification. ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required.
