Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Application Specialist to join our team at Stellar Energy Americas Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of various software applications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT department to identify and document applications used within the company.
  • Support software application evaluations, identify possible overlapping features, and evaluate the necessary hardware/infrastructure/services necessary to deploy solutions.
  • Configure and tailor off-the-shelf applications to meet departmental requirements.
  • Work with other team members and third-party providers to install and troubleshoot applications.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive matrix of application findings, including their uses and overlaps.
  • Attend software application meetings in an advisory role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an Associate of Science in Computer Technology or related discipline.
  • 3 years of job experience in an IT-related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology.
  • Experience in Software Application Administration.
  • Proficient in leading project implementation.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position with a regular schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.
