We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Genoa Healthcare. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- Current pharmacy tech license in the state of Alabama.
- Valid driver's license.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 6+ months of pharmacy experience.
