Job Summary

Spherion is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a passion for working with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.

The Estimator will be responsible for gathering and compiling data for estimates, preparing quantity surveys, and collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate quantity surveys and estimates
  • Completing estimates within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Soliciting subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Participating in plan reviews and estimate reviews
  • Assisting in compiling historical cost data

Requirements include:

  • Associate's degree in Estimating or Bachelor's degree in Construction
  • 2-3 years of estimating experience
  • Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferred
