Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Occupational Therapist at Penn Medicine, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing patients in the provision of Occupational Therapy care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop plans of care for patients, administering clinical treatments and providing effective management of patients.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program.
  • Collaborate with therapy staff and other healthcare professionals to provide effective Occupational Therapy management of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Monitor and support therapy assistants, students, and volunteers as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Pennsylvania State license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Preferred: National Occupational Therapy Examination (NBCOT) certification and professional association certifications.
