Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Landmark Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with consideration of age and population-specific needs and requirements.
• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Work under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director.
• May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor.

Qualifications:

• State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
