Laundry Assistant

Marklund in Geneva is hiring a Laundry Aide to contribute to our mission of making everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Laundry Aide. This is a Full-Time position, located in The Marklund Hyde Center Geneva, IL.

Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.

We are currently home to nearly 178 residents and offer a range of services, including residential, educational and therapy programs.

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers
• Sort and prioritize laundry tasks
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations

• No experience is necessary, training will be provided
• Must be able to read/write English
• Candidates must also possess the ability to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
