Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required for RN's in direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 Years of critical care experience, leadership experience and previous Nursing Supervisor experience a plus.
