Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

Auburn Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As an advanced practice Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and measuring safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction in the establishment of quality and process improvement initiatives
  • Design, implement, and evaluate quality or process improvement programs of care to improve healthcare outcomes
  • Apply and disseminate research, evidence-based practice interventions, and best practice guidelines to advance nursing care delivery and improve clinical outcomes
  • Consult with patients, families, clinical staff, and healthcare system leadership to optimize outcomes
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate formal information education for patients, families, or clinical staff
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility to ensure quality, cost-effective outcomes of healthcare
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Nursing required
  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist per NYS Office of Professions
  • National certification preferred
Compensation:

$120,000 – $145,000 annually, based on experience
