About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Hematology Oncology Physician to join our team in Southeastern New Mexico. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer, solid tumors, and blood disorders.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and blood disorders
* Write and administer chemotherapy orders
* Perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures
* Review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed
* Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications
* Deliver chemo-infusion and provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
* M.D. degree in medicine
* Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine
* Completion of a 3-year fellowship in hematology-oncology
* New Mexico license to practice medicine
Work Environment:
* Full-time
* Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
