About the Role

Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a PreOp/PACU RN. As a member of our perioperative services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of USPI, a leading provider of ambulatory surgical services
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU or Critical Care
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and prioritize tasks effectively
