Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, and electrical components.
  • Ensure the overall maintenance of our facilities, including performing repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and external landscaping sprinklers.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
  • Display basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
