Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse in Acute Care will:
1. Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
2. Exhibit advanced assessment skills, understanding the significant impact of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
3. Maintain accurate documentation of the nursing process in various formats, including electronic records and clinical pathways.
4. Integrate patient and family input into care planning, effectively managing time and resources while adhering to evidence-based practices.
5. Engage in continuous professional development to meet clinical lattice requirements and enhance nursing competencies.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A valid and active nursing license or temporary permit as approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Physical demands may include:
- Lifting up to 75 lbs and carrying objects up to 35 lbs.
- Frequent standing and walking, with occasional sitting.
- Exposure to various environmental factors depending on assigned tasks.
Compensation Information
The hourly pay range for this position is between $42.00 and $48.30, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
