Position Overview:
The role involves assisting in the acquisition and analysis of patient samples, ensuring the correct execution of laboratory tests, including quality assurance and equipment upkeep, as well as the documentation of test outcomes.
Responsibilities may include conducting laboratory analyses in designated and non-designated areas to guarantee prompt delivery of test findings for healthcare providers to utilize in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations and methodologies, laboratory equipment and testing techniques, medical terminology, infection control protocols, bloodborne pathogen safety measures, patient safety protocols, and a basic understanding of CLIA regulations as they pertain to clinical laboratory work.
