POSITION SUMMARY

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing essential support to clients in their daily activities. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care and ensuring the well-being of each individual.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Physical Demands: The role involves significant physical activity throughout the day, including actions such as squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, walking, and prolonged sitting.
  • Client Assessment: Regularly evaluate the client's progress and communicate any notable changes or concerns regarding their living conditions to the supervising staff.
  • Safety and Health: Uphold a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients by adhering to all policies and procedures established by Green Pastures Home Care, LLC.
  • Core Competencies: Demonstrate essential skills to the service supervisor, which encompass:
    • Assisting with mobility and ambulation
    • Providing support during bathing or showering
    • Facilitating toileting needs
    • Helping with dressing
    • Assisting with eating and managing continence requirements
  • Care Plan Adherence: Follow the care plan meticulously as outlined by the service supervisor.

EMPLOYMENT TYPES: Full-time, Part-time

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and skills to perform the duties required in this role.
