We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Educator to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Nurse Educator - Critical Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing professional practice and providing quality patient care through evidence-based educational programs and activities.

About the Role

The Nurse Educator - Critical Care will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering educational programs to promote professional competency for nursing and inter-professional staff
  • Participating in the development and coordination of onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare personnel
  • Identifying and addressing practice gaps for target audiences through educational activities and research
  • Conducting and participating in research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives in patient care settings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical education (preferred)
