Position Summary: The Systems Engineer Level 5 will play a crucial role in supporting our government program, which focuses on providing essential technical solutions and products utilizing cutting-edge technologies for processing large volumes of data. This program is vital to the National Security of the United States, and our work is frequently acknowledged for its effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the transition of applications to cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services.
  • Contribute to the creation of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans and Requirements Specifications.
  • Manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with established system architectures.
  • Assist in the allocation of requirements to specific hardware, software, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from various technical meetings that require interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Analyze technical alternatives for projects and provide preliminary recommendations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience criteria:

  • A High School Diploma or GED with twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant engineering field with eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A PhD in a relevant engineering field with eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
