As a Nurse Clinician at Providence Health & Service, you will provide holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, planning, coordinating, implementing, and revising the Plan of Care as needed.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group to anticipate changes in the patient's condition, avoid crises, promote patient and family choice, ensure continuity of care, and enhance the quality of life of dying patients.
Shift, schedule, and caseload may vary according to position assignment. You will have the opportunity to work in a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
Requirements include an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or equivalent education/experience. Prior experience in hospice, homecare, long-term care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology is preferred.
