Job Title: Principal Statistical Programmer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Statistical Programmer to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our Statistical Programming department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing complex statistical programming solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical programming solutions for complex studies, including programming, testing, and documentation of statistical programs.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to the department, including project planning, resource allocation, and communication with internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements and timelines.
  • Estimate programming scope of work, manage resource assignments, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Use and promote established standards, SOPs, and best practices within the department.
  • Provide training and mentoring to SP team members and Statistical Programming department staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in a science or mathematics-related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Statistical Programming in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Expertise in R programming, SAS Base, SAS/STAT, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro Language.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM) and clinical research regulatory requirements (GCP and ICH guidelines).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
