As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate medical imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Meditech experience preferred
- GE VCT 64 slice experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
