About This Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Configuration Manager to join our team in Stafford, VA. As a CM Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the configuration control/change process and ensuring proper configuration status accounting for project documentation and critical system information.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the receipting, tracking, storage, dissemination, retiring, and reporting of system baseline information.
  2. Perform data entry of system baseline information into the project CMDB.
  3. Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), document audit results, and ensure the CMDB is updated to appropriately reflect audit findings.
  4. Maintain an electronic library of system change requests and engineering change proposals.
  5. Support the project engineer and project manager in organizing and executing the Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
  6. Analyze various system baselines to support ERB & CCB planning, configuration status reporting, and documentation requirements throughout the project life cycle.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
