About the Role

The Pete Store is seeking a highly skilled Lot Porter with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team. As a Lot Porter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and maintenance of our truck inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shuttle and Road Test Trucks: Safely transport trucks to and from the service department, and conduct thorough road tests to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Lot Maintenance: Organize and maintain the truck lot, including sweeping, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Truck Organization: Ensure trucks are properly organized on the lot, following manager directives to maximize efficiency and safety.
  • Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • CDL License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, crawl, and bend, as well as lift and move heavy objects.
  • Education and Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
