Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel nurse RN to lead their skilled nursing team in Kansas City, Missouri.

About the Opportunity

We offer an estimated weekly salary of $2,580-$2,785 per week for this 13-week contract with possibility to extend. Our ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) and hold a current Missouri RN License.

Responsibilities:

  • Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
  • Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of nursing staff
  • Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
  • Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
  • Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
  • Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Current Missouri RN License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1 to 2 years of recent relevant experience as DON
