Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients in the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.
  • Code Analysis and Compliance: Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions.
  • Client Presentation: Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance.
  • Field Verification: Perform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.

  • A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing with 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.

  • Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types).

  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
