As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bethesda Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, which includes assessing their needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, documenting resident assessments and progress, and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents">
  • Develop individualized care plans based on resident assessments">
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians">
  • Document resident assessments, care plans, and progress in a timely and accurate manner">
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Certified LPN license in the state where employed">
  • CPR and AED certification (or willing to obtain within 6 months)">
  • IV certification (or willing to obtain within 6 months)">
  • Long-term care experience preferred">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects">
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity required">
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development">
