Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge / Staff Pharmacist

At RPh on the Go, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge or Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Bryan, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pharmacist in Charge:
    • Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staff supervision, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with all applicable laws, including Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and federal regulations.
    • Oversee patient safety and medication management protocols.
    • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory.
    • Train and supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and support personnel.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Staff Pharmacist:
    • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
    • Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
    • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and therapeutic appropriateness.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage patient medication therapy.
    • Ensure compliance with Texas pharmacy laws and regulations.
    • Maintain inventory control and ensure the proper handling of pharmaceuticals.
    • Provide immunization services and other clinical programs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas, in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • For Pharmacist in Charge: Minimum of 2-3 years of pharmacy management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
