Job Description

Kable Staffing is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team in Dublin, OH. This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form parts using CNC Press Brake equipment, ensuring quality and productivity.
  • Inspect parts according to print and product inspection plan, using inspection devices.
  • Measure work using rules, gauges, calipers, and templates.
  • Set up procedures on simple to moderately complex parts.
  • Determine correct tooling to form parts to specifications based on material type, thickness, bend radius, and part geometry.
  • Generate programs at machine controller on simple to moderately complex parts.
  • Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Make small, mathematically calculated, angle and dimensional corrections.
  • Orient the part correctly according to projected view on blueprint.
  • Follow all safety rules and remain safety conscious at all times.
  • Process improvement ideas are always welcomed.
  • Accurately enter quantities of production pieces and inspection results into the computer.
Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, stand for the entire shift, bend, squat, twist, and turn.
  • 1 or more years of experience as Brake Press Operator required.
  • Ability to read router packets, understand, and follow all instructions given.
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Advanced knowledge of brake press operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the use of dial calipers, square, and various measuring equipment.
  • Basic math knowledge.
  • The ability to organize and motivate people to accomplish goals while creating a sense of order and direction.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
