Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans, taking into account the individual needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff, promoting best practices and evidence-based care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • At least 2 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on emergency nursing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions
