Director of Radiology Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, and service level determination.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of radiology professionals to ensure excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in radiology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
  • Clinical competence as a staff technologist in various imaging modalities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
