Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams to obtain diagnostic images and information
  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and explaining procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program
  • Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in sonography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
