At Heartland Country Village, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the RoleThe primary purpose of this job position is to provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will be responsible for leading and supporting all functions related to quality care, directing the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, and participating in facility surveys.
Responsibilities- Lead and support all functions related to quality care for our residents.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
- Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
- Complete processes and paperwork related to Admission, transfer, and discharge of our residents.
- Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians' Order Form.
- Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid unencumbered nursing license and valid CPR/BLS certification or be willing to obtain during orientation.
