We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Lee Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic studies and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complete echocardiographic studies, integrating all imaging modalities to obtain pertinent patient data for diagnostic purposes.
  • Specialize in transthoracic echocardiographic studies, adhering to departmental and IAC protocols.
  • Document patient data and echo exam information accurately and efficiently using our current information management system.
  • Ensure appropriate billing for procedures and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Graduate from a cardiovascular technology program or diagnostic medical ultrasound program.
    • Extensive experience may substitute training.
  • Experience
    • Minimum years of experience required: [insert number]

  • Licensure and Certification
    • State of Florida licensure not required.
    • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) certification required.
