Job Title: Ophthalmologist

Rutgers University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at the Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. As a General Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for assisting with clinical general eye clinics for a portion of the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment for a variety of eye conditions
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct clinical research and participate in academic activities to advance the field of ophthalmology
  • Teach and mentor residents and medical students in the ophthalmology residency program
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ophthalmology residency program
  • Board certification in ophthalmology
  • Strong clinical and research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
