Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications and microservices using modern architecture and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web frontends with complex multi-tier applications.
  • Provide operational production support for cloud-based applications and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and escalate issues as needed.
  • Monitor key metrics, report on trends, and make improvement recommendations.
  • Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice for products and contribute to engineering automation, management, and development of production level systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Information Technology.
  • 5 years of experience in integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications.
  • 3 years of experience in all of the following:
    • React and services;
    • Providing operational production support for cloud-based applications utilizing modern architecture;
    • AWS cloud technologies including Lambda, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch;
  • 3 years of experience in all of the following:
    • SEOAB testing, telemetry, and delivery of functional features to support guest-facing experiences;
    • Utilization of microservice architecture & building cloud-native apps;
    • CI/CD principles;
  • Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.
