Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be accountable for essential clinical knowledge that positively affects patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice. You will display strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company policies, including those related to confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for patients in the PACU
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and develop an effective plan of care
  • Provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness, including pain assessment and reassessment
  • Document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 1 year of employment start date
