Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to lead our Geriatrics program in a vibrant community setting.

Location: Mishawaka, IN

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Eligibility for Board Certification or possession of a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with the elderly population
  • Previous leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate and DEA registration
  • Strong clinical evaluation and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the medical care provided to participants, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes, and managing the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

Additionally, the role includes the development and maintenance of medical policies and protocols, along with providing guidance to Primary Care Providers (PCPs).

The Medical Director will also play a crucial role in offering leadership and support to fellow healthcare professionals within the community.
