As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional imaging services to our patients.
About Florida Cancer Specialists:
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) has been a leader in oncology care since its inception. With a network of over 250 physicians and nearly 100 locations, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge cancer treatment and clinical research opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician orders accurately and administer contrast materials as required.
- Prepare and operate CT Scan equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Gather patient history, clarify standard procedures, and address any patient inquiries.
- Produce detailed computerized tomographic radiographs of specified areas as needed.
- Must possess a valid Florida CRT.
- ARRT Certification in (R) (CT) is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist is preferred.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Competent computer skills are essential, including EMR and data entry.
FCS prioritizes the safety of our patients and staff. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of background checks and compliance with vaccination requirements.
