  • Design and Develop Application Code: Leverage the right design patterns, algorithms, and Java frameworks to develop scalable, robust applications of which you are proud.
  • Work within an Agile Development Lifecycle: Focus on business outcomes and work within an agile development lifecycle to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Build Automation: Build automation to support a continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipeline to production.
  • Contribute to the Wider Engineering Community: Share designs, ideas, and experience of Java frameworks with the wider engineering community.

Requirements:

  • Strong Development Experience: Strong, demonstratable development experience in Java and/or other Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages.
  • Spring and REST Experience: Experience with Spring (especially Spring Boot) and REST is preferable. Micro-service or micro front end experience is also preferable.
  • React/Angular Experience: Experience with React/Angular or another JavaScript framework is preferable. TDD and BDD experience is also preferable.
  • CI/CD Frameworks and Build Tools: Experience with CI/CD frameworks (such as Jenkins) and build tools (gradle, maven) is preferable.
  • Containerized and Cloud Experience: Containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud experience (GCP) is preferable. Kotlin, Scala experience is optional.
