Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Kirtland Local School District.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent cleaning skills, knowledge of floor care, and experience with hand and power tools. Additionally, they must be physically able to perform tasks that require lifting, standing, and climbing.

• Clean various areas of the school district using different types of equipment.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and administrators.
• Operate hand power tools and equipment effectively.
• Lift and carry heavy objects up to 70 pounds.
• Work effectively with students, staff, and parents.

• Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of floor care and hand/power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with others.

The salary for this position is $14.25 per hour, offering a competitive rate for the region.
