Job Summary

The Course Proctor will provide critical support to the delivery of online courses at South University. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of virtual classrooms, facilitating student engagement, and maintaining accurate attendance records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the virtual classroom environment for online courses, including setting up technology and ensuring audio-visual equipment is functioning properly.
  • Access the Learning Management System (LMS) and navigate the live video function to facilitate seamless course delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the technical aspects of the virtual classroom, addressing any issues that may arise during the course.
  • Record and submit attendance records for student participation at the local campus to the corresponding instructor of record.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and technology, including MS Office Suite and LMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to effectively utilize technology in the classroom.
  • Ability to interact effectively with students and faculty in a virtual environment.
