Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mad Science Party Instructor. As a representative of Long Island STEAM Group, you will be responsible for delivering engaging science presentations to children aged 4-12 at various locations, including schools, libraries, and camps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present science shows and parties to groups of children, promoting hands-on learning and excitement for science
  • Develop and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate multiple bookings and events
  • Utilize provided training and equipment to deliver high-quality presentations
  • Interact with children, parents, and educators in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ensure a safe and efficient program delivery, adhering to company guidelines and protocols
Requirements
  • Outgoing personality and ability to engage with children and adults alike
  • Experience working with groups of children, preferably in a theater or educational setting
  • Basic knowledge of science concepts, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work independently
