We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Staff Nurse to join our team on the 3rd floor Medical Surgical unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care based on the Watson Model of Care, utilizing the nursing process as a problem-solving model.
- Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Document patient care and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care.
- Current California Nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing or Medical/Surgical Nursing is preferred.
