Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Consultant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, including sales tax, VAT, GST, and WHT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, as well as providing support to the sales team on tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns for 45 states, including reconciliation of sales tax accounts and book tax adjustments
  • Work with the IT team to ensure software updates and maintain good understanding of SAP
  • Provide support to the sales team on tax questions, review and process state tax exemption certificates, and approve tax credit memos
  • Assist the AP team in filing sales tax returns online and collecting sales tax payment evidence
  • Manage tax audits, including income tax, sales and use tax IDR requests, and tax notices
  • Responsible for SOX tax documentation controls and maintaining tax calendars
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master of Taxation preferred
  • CPA highly preferred; minimum 8 years of tax experience with public accounting and industry accounting and/or tax
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Solid Excel skills
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, depending on location, level, education, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for bonus and equity award programs.
