Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communication Therapist Lead to join our school-based team in Linwood, MA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students, and providing direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.

Collaboration with teachers and parents is essential to enhance students' communication abilities. The Communication Therapist Lead will also monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop accurate diagnoses.
  • Therapy Planning: Create personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide high-quality therapy sessions in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to share knowledge and best practices, ensuring seamless support for students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current licensure in Massachusetts for SLPs or a Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent for SLPA candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
