Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at JW Marriott Chicago. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and other department inquiries
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift
Preferred Qualifications
  • No high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
