Position Overview

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a beautiful setting? Saddlehill Cellars is seeking a full-time Host - Greeter to enhance our vibrant hospitality team at our picturesque vineyard.


COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $17 for our hosting roles.


WORK SCHEDULE

Our establishment operates six days a week, from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with lunch service from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Mondays and provide flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.


EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

YOUR ROLE AS A HOST - GREETER

As a Host - Greeter, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, efficiently seating them, managing phone inquiries, and handling reservations. You will also provide outstanding service by offering menu suggestions and promoting our wine club. Staying informed about our offerings through tastings and training is essential. Maintaining an organized host stand and collaborating with your team will ensure a seamless dining experience.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOST - GREETER

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse clientele. We are looking for someone with a friendly demeanor and a genuine passion for customer care.

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn about wines and food pairings
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions professionally
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • A passion for wine is preferred
  • Seeking a long-term position
