About the Role:

As a Surgical Technician at City of Hope, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procedural services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in maintaining supplies and equipment, stocking exam rooms and procedure rooms, and managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock and manage supplies, including exam rooms, procedure rooms, and supply carts.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  • Assist with ordering and receiving of all surgical supplies.
  • Perform check-in and check-out functions at designated workstations.
  • Collect lab specimens according to departmental guidelines.
  • Perform EKGs and take vital signs.
  • Assist physicians with procedures within the Medical Assistant (MA) Scope of Practice.
  • Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalency, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Training program, and AHA BLS certification.
