We are looking for a proficient Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine to become a vital part of our organization.

In this role, you will carry out diagnostic imaging tasks utilizing radioactive substances to assist in identifying and managing various health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging tasks
  • Operate advanced imaging machinery such as gamma cameras and PET scanners
  • Ensure correct positioning of patients and their comfort during imaging tasks
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and address any adverse reactions or complications
  • Capture high-quality images of the targeted areas using appropriate imaging techniques
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide precise diagnostic information
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Conduct routine maintenance and quality control assessments on imaging equipment

Required Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear medicine practices, techniques, and equipment
  • Proficiency in administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging machinery
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality image capture
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical issues during imaging tasks

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • State licensure or certification as mandated by the state regulatory agency
  • CPR certification
