Job Summary

As a Charge Nurse at Granite County Medical Center, you will be responsible for the overall supervision and management of care delivered to residents of the nursing home and patients of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, review, and revise resident care plans to ensure high-quality, individualized care.
  • Monitor resident/patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Maintain communication with residents, families, and responsible parties to ensure care meets individualized needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medication Treatment Nurse to ensure patient safety.
  • Act as first responder to the Emergency Room.
Job Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current licensure and in good standing in the State of Montana.
  • ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing/direct patient care experience in a hospital or long term care setting.
