Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate with large teams, showcasing strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive application development experience in large-scale enterprise environments is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities are necessary for effective task execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently when required.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Intermediate to expert knowledge in system development lifecycle and associated processes.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing (JUnit, JMock).
  • Experience with software configuration management tools.
  • Proficient in code deployment and versioning tools.

Required Skills:

  • UNIX (AIX) and UNIX Scripting.
  • Proficient in JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript, servlets, JDBC, struts, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with WebSphere, WSAD, MQ Series.
  • Knowledge of DB2, SQL, and MS Access.

iOS Development:

  • Experience in designing and developing iPhone and iPad applications.
  • Ability to parse RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with UI Kit, Core Data, Core Animation, and iOS Frameworks.
  • Understanding of design patterns and UI/UX standards.
  • Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools instruments.
  • Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications (APNS).
  • Proficient in code versioning tools, specifically Git.
  • Experience with Swift (greater than Swift 5 recommended, Swift 4 acceptable) and Objective-C.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle and controller lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of mobile landscape and architectures, ensuring compatibility across iOS versions.

Java Expertise:

  • Proficient in Java 8.
  • Experience with Spring 4+ and Spring Boot 2+.

Optional Skills:

  • Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server 8+.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, including GitHub, Bamboo, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
